Frequently asked
- Is there a free plan?
- No. Every plan is paid, starting at €29 a month. The public code lookup on this site is free to use without an account, so you can see exactly what the data looks like before you subscribe.
- Where does the data come from?
- The nomenclature reference tables published by RIZIV/INAMI from their NomenSoft database. Every response names the publication it came from, and /sources documents the pipeline.
- Are you RIZIV or INAMI?
- No. This is an independent developer service, not affiliated with or endorsed by RIZIV/INAMI. The official publications remain authoritative.
- How often is the data updated?
- We check the source daily and publish a new import whenever the published archive changes and validates. The source itself publishes on no fixed schedule — between February and September 2026 it published 16 times, with gaps from two days to seven weeks. /v1/source-status always reports exactly which publication you are reading.
- What counts as a request?
- One HTTP request to a /v1 endpoint. Requests that fail because of an error on our side are not counted. Every response carries X-Quota-Remaining.
- What happens when I hit my quota?
- Requests return 429 with monthly_quota_exceeded and the plan that would have served them. We warn by email at 80% and 90% first. Quotas reset on the first of the month.
- Can I cancel?
- Yes, at any time. Your plan stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- Can you provide an SLA?
- Through a custom Enterprise agreement.
